We offer a free library of sample agents that demonstrate the use of our service. All of the agents are implemented as RDF Gateway application packages that require RDF Gateway to be installed on your computer (see Agent Installation Guide). You can run the sample agents on your computer allowing you to gather and publish information on the Semantic Web. You are free to modify the source code for any of the sample agents to improve them or to create exciting new agents.

SWS Library - REQUIRED FOR ALL SAMPLE AGENTS LISTED ON THIS PAGE
The SWS Library implements the core functionality for RDF Gateway agents to access our service. It provides RDF Gateway agent developers with an easy-to-use object oriented interface to Semantic Web Search. The objects in the SWS Library are used in all of our sample agents.
Installation Note: This library must be installed using the package name "sws".

My First Agent
This ridiculously simple agent is a great place to start if you want to learn how to write a semantic web agent using RDF Gateway. The agent implements a basic Semantic Web search page that is powered by Semantic Web Search. The source code will show you how to: submit a query to our service, iterate over the documents and resources in the results, and format the search results using HTML. Once you understand how it works you can modify this agent to gather the information you need.
